I led and managed a team of 4 through a monthly retainer while being the liaison between the PC Marketing and IT teams to streamline business priorities into modern digital products that included enterprise-level and headless CMS/ReactJS sites for or PC Financial and Loblaw Digital
I created hiring criteria and interviewing process for the Product Design and Development team and hired small specialized teams to fill the needs of all project requirements

Search engine optimization can be difficult to maintain and grow ranking, especially in a big industry like insurance. To solve this issue, we worked closely with PC® Insurance to create hyper-localized content for targeted regions across the country and established new designs to make sure that all the content looked and performed at the highest level.

Understanding a need for consistency in PC’s email marketing, we created a user friendly email design system. The goal behind this project was to deliver a product to be used internally and by all vendors in order to ensure email communications and campaigns were on brand. The application “houses” approved, ready-to-use assets to help designers, developers, and projects managers create and produce email marketing campaigns efficiently and timely.

A design system is like a cookbook. A cookbook is a collection of recipes and each recipe requires specific ingredients and measurements. A design system, therefore, is a collection of instructions on how a company can internally use to build out their digital products in a consistent and seamless way. There are recipes for modals, menus, forms, and many other interface components that a designer and developer might need.
